Abby (she/her/ella) is a grant strategist, policy thinker, and capacity builder with a heart for community-rooted change. Raised in Dallas, Texas, Abby knows firsthand the challenges and the resilience of communities that are too often overlooked. Her work is driven by a deep belief that every community deserves equitable access to resources, excellence, and support regardless of its geographic location or budget.

With years of experience supporting nonprofits, colleges, and grassroots leaders, Abby brings a grounded, strategic approach to her work. She has walked alongside Latino-led and BIPOC-serving organizations, navigating complex funding systems.

As the Founder of Raíces Consulting, Abby created this firm to fill a gap she witnessed time and again in the nonprofit sector, especially among culturally rooted organizations: a need not just for technical expertise but for support that honors culture, builds capacity, and empowers leadership.

Whether she’s designing a grant strategy, facilitating a strategic planning retreat, creating a culturally responsive evaluation framework or helping an organization build internal systems, Abby leads with humility, clarity, and deep care for the communities she serves.
